Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address. We sign you in with a magic link sent to that address — we do not store passwords.
• Job content you upload. The photos, emails, documents and invoices you add to a job, plus anything sent through your job inbox address or a client/vendor upload link.
• Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate usage. It does not track you across other sites and sets no advertising cookies.

How your documents are handled

Files you upload are stored in cloud object storage and are encrypted at rest by our storage provider. Each file is associated with the specific job you filed it under. You can retrieve or permanently delete any file, or delete an entire job and its contents, at any time from your account. When you delete content, we remove it from active storage; residual copies in routine backups are purged on our normal backup rotation.

Email auto-filing

When you forward an email to a job inbox address, we process the message and its attachments only to file them into the correct job. We do not read your wider inbox — only what is explicitly forwarded to JobFolder.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the service: authenticating you, storing and organising your job content, delivering upload links, and maintaining and improving JobFolder. We do not sell your data or your job content.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, object storage, email delivery and payment processing) to run JobFolder. They process data only on our instructions and under their own security and privacy obligations.

Your rights

You can access, export or delete your data at any time. To close your account and remove your content entirely, contact us and we will action the request. Deleting your account deletes your jobs and their files.
